First Real-world Bitcoin transaction

On February 24, 2010, the first known commercial Bitcoin transaction occurred, marking a key milestone in Bitcoin’s history.
Already on January 24, 2010, a few months before Laszlo Hanyecz’s famous Bitcoin pizza, the user “Sabunir” posted a request on the bitcointalk forum asking if anyone would like to purchase a picture he created for 500 BTC (worth about one US dollar at the time).
Although the thread does not reveal whether the sale actually took place, the Bitcoin address linked by Sabunir shows a transaction of 500 BTC on February 24, 2010, suggesting that the sale might have been completed.
